About Me
I’m a native Oregonian and small-town girl but sports have always had a prominent place in my heart.
Introduction
Intro
I have been a Portland Trail Blazer fan since I was a baby. My grandpa has been a season ticket holder since the 70’s, and as a grandkid, it was such a big moment once he took you. I have always had a special connection with my grandpa, but sports have always allowed us to bond. Once I committed to OSU, I gave my grandpa a shirt that read, “OSU Grandpa,” I have never seen him wear a shirt more often. Today, whenever the beavers are playing, I know who will also be watching, no matter what sport.
This year, I came to Oregon State University with over 80 college and AP combined credits. My academic advisor congratulated me on my hard work and guided me on a path of first-year classes; furthermore, she guided me in a direction that would allow me to finish my baccalaureate coursework by the end of this school year. I was also invited to join the Dean's Academy, which will enable me to take honors classes. I am majoring in business administration with a minor in graphic design. Never did I know that when I started working on our family farm at the early age of 6, doing things like helping at the NW Flower and Garden Show or pulling weeds in the fields, learning how to restock shelves, and later assisting customers on the phone, would lead to running the social media and growing our customer following to over 38.8k on Instagram and 139k on Facebook.

I graduated in June 2023 with an Honors Diploma. I was an elected class officer for four years. I competed in Future Business Leaders of America for three years and was an officer for the last two years. I was part of a service-based club focused on helping the community during my senior year, Interact Club. During my junior through senior years, I helped create the Girls Empowerment Club, which helped create a safer environment for everyone in our school. I applied and was inducted into the National Honor Society in my junior year, then was elected president in my senior year.

I am currently a freshman at OSU. I am studying Business Administration with a minor in graphic design. I am an active member of the Alpha Rho Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi on campus.

Project 01
Swan ISland Dahlias
I have been running the social media for our multi-million dollar family business, Swan Island Dahlias, for the past four years and plan to continue to do so while in school. This job continues to give me valuable skills that I can apply in the beginning business classes I am enrolled in, and I am learning valuable skills to apply to my position with our farm.

Future business leaders of america
During my senior year of high school, I was the membership and media officer of our chapter. I posted updates about our chapter, events, information, and reminders for new and current members.

Aura posters & prints
Through the OSU College of Business, all of the first-year business students must run a micro business. Currently, my microbusiness is Aura Posters & Prints, a printing company. I was able to design a logo for my team and create a branding kit that included specific fonts; then, I could start our social media accounts for us.

Fundraising
I participated in the Polar Plunge for the Special Olympics this year. To help raise money for this cause, I made graphics to help communicate the cause. I was able to raise over $2000.
